Which stroller sleeping bag is suitable for autumn and winter?
Today we're bringing you practical advice on stroller walks in autumn and winter. We'll divide this article into three sections: strolling with a baby, stroller walks, and strollers with a toddler, as different products are best suited for different stages of travel.
Walking with a Baby.
If you're a parent of a baby, you probably already have everything ready – if not, we're happy to help. It's worth taking a wrap for the carrycot and car seat – we have a wide selection of both patterns and materials. For cooler weather, choose a sweatshirt wrap from the Beztroska x MKTP collection, a velour-lined wrap, or a truly premium product – a merino wool wrap. All products work well in both the carrycot and car seat – meaning you can also safely transport your little one in them. An alternative to wraps are our sleeping bags for the youngest – Robin Chudki sleeping bags. They're suitable from newborns up to around 18 months, so they're perfect for the carrycot, car seat, and for the beginning of their stroller adventure. For autumn, we recommend the sweatshirt wraps, but for colder days, be sure to check out the autumn/winter version – waterproof sleeping bags. They're thicker, rain- and snow-resistant, and lined with cotton fleece. They have a detachable hood that protects against the wind, but can be conveniently unzipped to create a larger sleeping bag. New this season is our Combi sleeping bag, which will last from birth until the end of the stroller life, but we'll cover that in the next section.
A walk in a stroller.
Hurray, the gondola era is over (we wrote "hurray" because some parents are relieved – few little ones ride calmly in a gondola – they are curious and quickly become interested in what's outside the stroller). We can go for walks, showing our child our world. If your little one is over 8 months old, we recommend the Ulubiony M or L winter sleeping bag, depending on the size of the stroller (in small strollers, size L, 110 cm, will be too long, so it's best to check the length from the backrest to the lower wheels, so you don't have to return or exchange sleeping bags). For warmer days, the Beztroska half-sleeping bag or the waterproof half-sleeping bag will be great. This is our proprietary solution – an alternative to a blanket or a coverlet, finished with a foot pocket and fastened with special clips behind the backrest. This prevents it from sliding out of the stroller. You've probably seen this half-sleeping bag when passing strollers on walks, because our parents simply love them :-) At this stage, you can also invest in our combi sleeping bag – initially use the option without the extension, and as your little one grows, you can add a panel. We encourage you to check out this option as well.
A walk with Starszak.
A quick "ride" to preschool? Does your older child only briefly use the stroller but sometimes fall asleep in it? We know this all too well, so we recommend a waterproof half-sleeping bag for the stroller. It'll be perfect for the rest of the stroller life, and it's quick and easy to install.
