The first "carefree" product was created by accident – my then-newborn daughter, Ewa, was sweating profusely in a Minky fleece sleeping bag we'd received as part of a layette from friends. After a while, a rash appeared on her back – this spurred us into action. Ewa's aunt, Ilona, pulled a sewing machine out of the attic and started sewing a sleeping bag from natural sweatshirt fabric. It worked. The rash problem disappeared. However, the sleeping bag was attracting increasing interest from my friends. We sewed a few "no-name" sleeping bags for our friends, until one evening my husband suggested a name. That's how Beztroskawas born.
