There is no need to wash a merino wool product before first use. Merino wool is self-cleaning; if the product is not very dirty, simply air it out. We recommend hand washing at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius without soaking. Only use wool detergents or a gentle shampoo. If washing in a washing machine, select the wool cycle, a temperature of 20/30 degrees Celsius, and a low spin cycle. Machine wash at your own risk. The manufacturer is not responsible for improper operation of the washing machine or a malfunctioning wash cycle (Article 548 of the Civil Code). Pilling of merino wool is a natural phenomenon resulting from shorter fibers emerging to the surface; it is not, in itself, a product defect. To refresh the product, you can use a fabric shaver or a soft-bristled brush.
