Car seat and carrycot blankets
Car seat and carrycot blankets in cotton, muslin and merino - a safe alternative to an overall in the car, fit every car seat.
Car seat blanket - safe without an overall
Car seat manufacturers do not recommend carrying a child in an overall or a thick jacket. You buckle your child in light clothes, and the blanket - a mix of a baby nest and a blanket - keeps them warm.
Car seat blanket - safe and warm in the car
You put the blanket on the car seat, thread the straps through the openings and buckle your child in as usual. Then you wrap them up and fasten the ties - it will not come undone by accident, and tying does not wake your child the way Velcro does.
It also works in the carrycot and as a sleeping bag in the first months of life.

Frequently asked questions about car seat blankets
Why a blanket instead of an overall?
A thick overall keeps the straps away from your child's body, so car seat manufacturers do not recommend it. With the blanket, your child is buckled in light clothes, and the warmth comes from the cover over the straps.
Will the blanket fit my car seat?
Yes - the openings fit 3- and 5-point harnesses, including non-separable ones, and the blanket also works in the carrycot.
Which fabric should I choose?
Organic muslin for spring and summer, cotton jersey for every day, and RWS merino wool for cold days - it adapts to your child's body temperature.
How do I wash the blanket?
Cotton and muslin blankets in the washing machine on a delicate cycle and a low spin, without bleach or fabric softener and no tumble drying. Merino by hand at up to 30°C or on the wool programme.
