There is no need to wash merino wool products before the first use. Merino wool is self-cleaning; if the product is not heavily soiled, simply airing it out is enough. We recommend hand washing at a maximum of 30 degrees, do not soak. Use only wool detergents or a gentle hair shampoo. If machine washing, select a wool cycle, a temperature of 20/30 degrees, and a low spin speed. Machine washing is at your own risk. The manufacturer bears no responsibility for the improper operation of the washing machine or an incorrectly functioning wash cycle (art. 548 kc.). Pilling of merino wool is a natural phenomenon resulting from shorter fibres coming to the surface - it does not constitute a product defect in itself. To refresh the product, you can use a fabric shaver or a soft-bristled brush. The product has GOTS certification and is mulesing-free.
