Washing and care
- hand wash or machine wash on a wool cycle
- spin at low speeds
- do not use bleach or fabric softener (avoid liquids containing citric acid)
- do not tumble dry
- iron at 110 degrees
There is no need to wash merino wool products before first use. Merino wool is self-cleaning; if the product is not heavily soiled, simply airing it out is sufficient. We recommend hand washing at a maximum of 30 degrees without soaking. Use only wool detergents or a gentle hair shampoo. If machine washing, select a wool cycle, a temperature of 20/30 degrees, and a low spin speed. Machine washing is at your own risk. The manufacturer bears no responsibility for the improper operation of the washing machine or an incorrectly functioning wash cycle (Art. 548 KC). Pilling of merino wool is a natural phenomenon resulting from shorter fibres emerging to the surface-it does not, in itself, constitute a product defect. With scoured wool, pilling is very limited, but it may occur in areas of friction, e.g., where booties rub against the wool. All products are sewn using OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics. These are natural fabrics and bindings, therefore prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause them to fade. The placement of the pattern may vary depending on the product.
