Today we are coming to you with practical advice regarding strolls with a stroller in autumn and winter. We will divide the text into three periods: a stroll with a newborn, a stroll in a pushchair, and a stroll with an older child, as different products work best at each stage of "travelling".
Strolling with a newborn.
If you are the parent of a newborn, you probably already have everything ready-if not, we would be happy to help you with that. For an autumn stroll, it is worth choosing a swaddle for the carrycot and car seat - we have a very wide selection of both patterns and materials. For cooler weather, the best choice would be a jersey swaddle from the Beztroska x MKTP collection, a swaddle with velour lining, or a totally premium product-a merino wool swaddle. All products will work perfectly in both a carrycot and a car seat-this means you can also safely transport your little one in them. An alternative to swaddles are our footmuffs for the youngest ones-Robin Chudki footmuffs. They are suitable from birth up to about 18 months, so they will work well in a carrycot, a car seat, and at the start of your pushchair adventures. For autumn, we recommend the jersey versions, but for colder days, you must check our autumn-winter version, which is our waterproof footmuffs. These are thicker, resistant to rain and snow, and feature a cotton fleece lining. They have a detachable hood that protects against the wind, but it can be easily unfastened, making the footmuff larger. Strolling in a pushchair.
Hurrah, the carrycot stage is already behind us (we wrote hurrah because some Parents feel a sense of relief-not many little ones ride peacefully in a carrycot; they are curious about the world and very quickly become interested in what lies beyond the stroller). We can now go for walks, showing your little one our world. If your little one has turned 8 months, we recommend the Ulubiony winter footmuff in size M or L, depending on the size of your stroller (in small strollers, size L 110 cm will be too long, so it is best to check the length from the backrest to the bottom wheels, dear Parents, so you won't have to return or exchange any footmuffs). For warmer days, the Beztroska x MKTP sweatshirt half footmuff or our waterproof half footmuff will work brilliantly. This is our signature solution-an alternative to a blanket or cover, finished with a pocket for the feet and fastened with special clips behind the backrest. This ensures it doesn't slip off the stroller. You have surely seen such a half footmuff while passing strollers on a walk, as our Parents simply love them :-) At this stage, you can also invest in our combi footmuff-initially use the option without the extension, and as your little one grows, you can add the panel. Walking with an older child.
A quick "ride" to nursery? Is your older child hopping into the stroller for a moment but occasionally falling asleep in it? We know this perfectly well, which is why we suggest our waterproof half footmuff for the stroller. It works great until the end of your stroll and is easy and quick to attach to the stroller.
